ADVANCED SHORT COURSE IN

MODELING GROUNDWATER CONTAMINATION BY NON-AQUEOUS PHASE LIQUIDS (NAPLs)

January 10-12, 2003

The Research Center for Groundwater Remediation Design (RCGRD) at the University of Vermont will present an advanced course in the theory and modeling required to address groundwater contamination by Non-Aqueous Phase Liquids (NAPLs).  The course provides the background and training, using state-of-the-art interactive computer-graphics programs, to model mutli-phase flow and transport phenomena and solve field-scale applications involving groundwater contamination by NAPLs.
